FAWL31 – Amapiano School Vol 3 – Episode 2519

Preface
Welcome back, students of the groove. Amapiano School is our living classroom — part archive, part workshop, part dance lab — where the log drum is the metronome and collaboration is the curriculum. Vol. 3 goes beyond showing you what’s hot; it traces how ideas travel: from spiritual call-and-response to street-level bounce, from piano-room subtlety to arena-sized anthems. You’ll hear how motifs echo across artists and eras — a hook returns, a bassline mutates, a vocal texture reappears in a new light — and how producers like Kabza, Maphorisa, Kelvin Momo, and Mas Musiq keep stretching the language without losing its center.

This session is sequenced as a journey. We begin in community — chorus, harmony, and groove as shared ritual — then move through counterpoints and remixes, mood studies and form experiments, before closing with global fusions and late-set elevation. Think of each Lesson as a module: listen for arrangement choices, vocal phrasing, drum programming, and the ways edits and remixes revise the original thesis. Attendance is mandatory. Dancing is encouraged. Reflection is the homework.

FAWL 28 – Back To Basics (B2B) – Episode 2516

Sometimes you’ve got to strip it down and bring it home. Back to Basics is exactly that — a return to the essence of why we started From Africa With Love: the music that makes us move, the songs that live in our bones, the culture that carries us forward.

This set blends brand new heat with timeless classics. Burna Boy opens the gates with “Update” before the piano takes over. There’s fire in the collabs — Scorpion Kings’ “eMcimbini” still commands dancefloors, while TitoM & Yuppe’s “Tshwala Bam (Remix)” with Burna Boy adds new fuel to a global flame. Carbon the Element flips familiar favorites into fresh experiments with “I Love Nana Thula” and the extended “19K Dip.”

And then there’s the soul: Kelvin Momo’s “Awake” and “Mfula,” Kabza & Mthunzi’s “Imithandazo,” and Sfarzo Rtee & De Rose’s “Hello” hold space for reflection in between the fire.

FAWL 27 – Æ4 (Amapiano Everywhere) – Episode 2515

Æ4 extends the Amapiano Everywhere journey with another 25-track celebration of sound, feeling, and fire. This set blends the sacred with the street, the global with the local — reaffirming why Amapiano continues to move bodies and hearts everywhere.

The classic energy of “Mnike” meets inventive flips, while gems like “Pholisa,” “Awukhuzeki,” and “Nasempini” keep the balance between soul and fire.

FAWL 26 – Æ3 (Amapiano Everywhere) – Episode 2514

The Amapiano Everywhere arc reaches its crescendo.

In FAWL 26, we close the trilogy with a 25-track sonic pilgrimage through the full emotional and cultural spectrum of Amapiano. From the sacred to the sensual, the deeply spiritual to the deeply street — Æ3 is the sound of the genre at its most refined, yet still raw.

Mas Musiq, DJ Maphorisa, and Daliwonga return to anchor the soul of the mix, while Kelvin Momo, in signature form, delivers layered, atmospheric gems like “Flowless,” “Uzumthande,” and the Bonga collab with Sam Deep. Kabza De Small is in every corner — from the gospel-rooted “Nasempini” to the rolling waves of “Abalozi” and the energetic Eningi (Remix).

Vocals shine throughout — Sha Sha, Azana, Phila Dlozi, Babalwa M, and Nkosazana Daughter each bring tenderness, tension, and truth to the mix. Tracks like “Ubuhle Bakho,” “Ubumnandi,” and “Ungangilimazi” are not just grooves — they’re moments.

And once again, Carbon the Element threads his experimental edge through the set, delivering Wrong Amapiano Artform and a stunning extension of the 10K motif with “10K Dip.”

There’s soul in “Wrong’o”, heat in “Wololo”, and bounce in “Bhampa.” Mas Musiq and Daliwonga keep things classic on “As’ galavante”, while Carbon the Element flips the form entirely on “Wrong Amapiano Artform.”

‘The Jazzy Yanos Sessions’: Not just a mixtape, it’s a mood.

FAWLXXII – Amapiano For The Love Vol. 3 – Episode 2510

And just like that, we go deeper. FAWL XXII is the third chapter in our Amapiano love letter — and this one bumps. The dance is heavier, the bass is warmer, and the vibes are unmistakably fresh. The log drum doesn’t whisper anymore — it commands.

This episode pulls from across the Amapiano universe — from underground heaters to festival anthems. Sjavas Da Deejay, Titom & Vyno Keys open the set strong with “Bayazi,” featuring the ever-ubiquitous Mellow & Sleazy. Kelvin Momo, a mainstay in this series, returns with elegant cuts like “Bo Gogo” and “Maye Maye,” while DJ Maphorisa continues his reign with tracks like “Feel A Way” (feat. Nanette) and the lush “Ufunani” alongside Kabza De Small, Aymos, and Jay Sax.

There’s no shortage of standout collaborations: Tyler ICU & LeeMcKrazy’s “Ebasini” is a street sermon; Sha Sha & Sykes link up with Momo for “Ndawana,” dripping with soul; and Soa Mattrix closes things out with “Iskhathi,” a moving finish featuring Bassie and Faith Strings.
